What Is The Job?

CHO Associates is looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to be based in Singapore office whose primary job will be managing key client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope.

The successful candidate job will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ascertain resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Review deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
  • Adapt plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
  • Travel regularly to building sites, proposed locations, and client meetings
  • Follow architectural trends and advancements

  • As the successful Senior Project Manager, you will also have the following Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in project leadership, including the delivery of at least 2 or 3 mid-large scale innovative workplaces
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Design or other related fields, preferred
  • LEED accreditation and familiarity with the Design-Build process preferred
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle, from pre-lease services through post-occupancy
  • Exemplary skills in dealing with people, able to work with and manage teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit and MS Office
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures
  • Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Able to communicate and work effectively with senior leadership and members of our global team
  • An active presence in the A&D community
